Demon's Souls - Smooth Gameplay @60FPS
Follow these steps to install RPCS5 on your preferred operating system.
Unzip the downloaded file using your preferred software.
Move the RPCS5 folder to an easily accessible location, for example Desktop/RPCS5/RPCS5.exe.
Download and install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2020 Redistributable.
Extract the downloaded .zip file.
Drag and drop RPCS5.app into your Applications folder.
To launch RPCS5 for the first time, hold down the Control key and double-click the app.
After installation, find your RPCS5 application support directory at the path below.
~/Library/Application Support/RPCS5/Unzip the downloaded file.
RPCS5 comes in an AppImage format. Run the following command:
chmod a+x ./RPCS5-*_linux64.AppImage && ./RPCS5-*_linux64.AppImageRPCS5 PS5 Emulator performance is very sensitive to hardware configuration. For the best experience, we highly recommend meeting or exceeding the requirements outlined in the table below.
Processor: CPUs without AVX512 and less than 8 cores may run poorly.
Graphics: Vulkan compatible. AMD Polaris or NVIDIA Pascal architecture at minimum, AMD Navi or NVIDIA Turing recommended.
Memory: 8 GB is the absolute minimum. Dual-channel is highly recommended over single-channel.
Storage: 1024 MB for base emulator data, 8 GB for cache, 512 MB per game.
